A strange cookie:

New in box Cherry G80-3000 LAMIT. PCB mounted MX black switches, with a linear grey on the spacebar. AT cable. Cherry stabs. Thin, lasered Cherry profile PBT caps, in the damnedest layout you ever saw.


It's not rock solid, it's a G80-3000! But it's reasonably nice. A friend of mine has used one as a daily driver for years.

It does dress up well, though…

Note the refreshingly modern bottom row: 1.25u mods and 6.25u spacebar. The spacebar switch is offset to the right, however, but Signature Plastics's "universal spacebars" have you covered. Caps Lock is old-school offset style, mind, as you can see from the stepped caps I'm using for it.

I bought two back in 2015. This is my 2nd one, left in its box the whole time. As new condition. Located in Scotland (which is not technically in the EU, customs-wise, any more. ) Wanting £70 for it.

By a chance, what are those keycap sets called?

I presume you mean the ones I put on it* rather than the oddball Cherry set it came with!

This one is 7bit's infamous Round 5. And this one is DSA Granite by Matt3o. They're both classic sets I bought many years ago.

*Actually the keyboard in those pics is its identical brother. This one really is NIB.
