Much like how people pair certain wines with certain meals, I'm just realizing that I should try different pairings before I make judgement about whether I like certain switches or caps. For example:

DSA+ MX Clicky > DSA+MX Low-Tactile > DSA+ MX High-tactile

XDA/PBT+Blue Alps = SA+Blue Alps > OEM + Blue Alps

Does anyone have the same experience? Is there any rule of thumb?

Good luck getting SA on blue alps. I've done it with nexus sliders, but they didn't work well at all, horrible binding issues. Worked fine with SKCM orange though.

For whatever reason I can use the nexus sliders with some cheap SA caps without any problem. Chyrosrob also didn't report any issue with his review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsjMhASnnKY
