Hi, DT marketplace!

I want to sell my trusty Cherry MX 1800, because I don't use it much these days since I got a) a G80-1000 and b) a bigger desk and don't really need a spacesaver anymore.

Back then when I got this I immediately replaced it's thin lasered PBT keycaps with a fitting set of original Cherry doubleshots. So they were never used by me but mind that I bought this board in used condition.

I also remodeled the straight PS2 cable into a diy-spiral cable. This worked out very well but unfortunately over time it loosened up and strechted back out. As you can see it looks a bit messy now but it shouldn't be to hard to redo the curling process or fully straighten it (or just replace it with a custom cable).

There is also a little bit of case yellowing going on. Before shipping this I will disassemble and clean the board thoroughly. Great board for starter projects or just for salvaging the MX blacks.

I have already sold the original Cherry doubleshot ABS keycaps seperatly, but I still got most of the special keycaps here, except the 1,75 right shift. That spacebar is a vintage PBT and has a slightly more creamy color compared to new ones. For information on the layout, check out wiki/Cherry_G80-1800
