[HELP] Model M bolt mod (in Canada)
Posted: 14 Apr 2020, 17:01
So this is my first bolt mod and I am understandably nervous and used the geekhack wiki page only to discover Mc-Master doesn't ship to Canada. I was wondering if any fellow Canadians (or anyone really) could help give me a link to the parts they used, I already tried digging up local stuff but got a bit overwhelmed with everything and with places like Home Depo straight up not actually having enough bolts for the project (they had about 50 or so)
The part numbers (or I guess more so links are):
https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/126/3189 (For the Phillips screw)
https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/126/3380 (for the nuts)
https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/126/3424 (For the washers)
Original geekhack page can be found here: https://wiki.geekhack.org/index.php?tit ... d_Bolt_Mod
Thanks again everyone, I'm just very nervous doing this so I want to try to be as accurate as possible.
EDIT: I can also add the 3d schematics from mc-master for further clarification.
