Hi!
I've recently started streaming some games and as much as I love my clicky :IBM: keyboards I can't stand linear switches at all when it comes to gaming on them (I love typing on linearized skcm blacks). We all know, that blacks are quite polarizing switches and I simply put hate them as they are probably the only switches except can-techs' buckling springs that got on cherry my level of beeing crap. And here is my question: How do cream dampend alps, or matias switches feel compared to skcm blacks from AT101?
Thank you for answers,
Luxanna.
How dampend :alps: / matias switches feel compared to alps blacks?

If you dont mind doing some work, you can mod the black alps to be linear quite easilyLuxanna wrote: Hi!

So it looks like my bet are the matias switches? Welp, time to find a good place to buy them in europe.

Nah man - go with cream damapened over matias. Cream dampened are at least complicated alps, and even come with pine top housings. Matias are simplified alps clones. You could also try a more respectable skcm tactile switch, like SKCM orange!

Matias parts work really well as Black Alps augments - you get both a clean keyfeel and nice tactility.
