Certainly not as much of a failure as the 6.0 (IMO)

Yes, I'll never use full-size again, but for their recent history I think Cherry is playing it smart here.
This keyboard is supposed to feature many different angles and positions for the flip-out feet, and a big comfy wrist rest.
Also they use their 'new' quiet switches, in a light 45g MX Red version

Lastly, they say they've improved the font, but I have no full frontal pic at the moment.

Perhaps this will be something for full-size lovers.

PS: How they come up with 5.0 after 6.0 is beyond me. But then again they skipped 4 and 5 and went from the 3.0 straight to the 6.0, so it's all in keeping with their slightly weird tradition.

You bet, us full size lovers would appreciate this keyboard when it's released. Always loved my keyboards in filling up the desktop as much as possible .

Could never understand some people loving the tiny 60% sized keyboards, that look like a remote control for a TV. A KEYBOARD needs to be full sized because it commands the PC with it's size and ease of access to every single key with a single key-press (no macro-functions needed).

With all these smaller keyboards, you have to press two or sometimes even three keys at once, to initiate any extra functions. ....ludicrous .

While I disagree with you on almost all points, discussing the benefits and drawbacks of different keyboard form factors was not at all what I intended with this thread

Well, the feet are interesting. I have my doubts as to whether all the positions that can be achieved with them are ergonomic...

... but they could be good - though they'd be better if the middle feet were on the front of the keyboard so they could be used with the wrist rest detached. I can see how they'd get eight positions (three lots of up or down) but I wonder what the ninth is.

For the rest, the font's not too weird, most of the symbol keys are the wrong way up (do these keyboard manufacturers not know why there's an up-arrow on the Shift keys? ), and there's a mention of some anti-ghosting feature which could be RealKey again. Wonder if this is a replacement for the 6.0?

I am on your side, davkol, but Elrick will bring up the (valid!) counter-argument that computers nowadays have way more functions than that old typewriter did.
