Swapping Stems on Alps Switches

I am not that familiar with the Alps internals, but I have a thought. Could someone, hypothetically swap the stems of the Cream Dampened Switch into a Yellow housing with a Yellow spring? That way they could have a quiet, linear switch?

The dampers on damped Alps need special slider stops, so the shell is specific. It's hard to photograph, but you can see it here:
If you want to make an Alps SKCM switch linear, just remove the click or tactile leaf. The springs are of course interchangeable.

Interesting. Also, how did you get those pictures so fast?

My Alps 60 has dampened whites with the tactile leif removed and they feel nice . Not as good as real old Alps liniers like greens but still pretty sweet. If I wanted to dampen greens I would swap both the slider and switch bottom from dampened white/creams , the only issue is your losing the lube that makes greens so nice
