While desoldering a bad Zealio switch from a Whitefox I'm building for a friend, one of the pads came off the PCB. I'm hoping to manually replace the connection using a jumper wire but don't know where to start. It's switch S46.

I've tried patching it to some places (36, 56, 45, etc) to make sure that it could produce any keystroke and doing this I can confirm that the switch still works fine. Can anyone give me some pointers please?

If you're looking at the back of the board, the left pin of S46 connects to left pin of S28 - at least that's the closest column neighbor. The right pin connects to the bottom pin of the D46.

Thanks a lot Parak, I'll try that tonight! I was getting such a headache trying to trace the PCB so it is much appreciated.

No problem! Though tracing the PCB is seldom a good idea (suppose you have more than two layers..) when the schematic is around, too

IT'S ALIVE! Diode D46 is broken. I've got a through-hole diode standing here jury-rigged connected between S46 and D47 and it works! Thanks so much for linking the schematic Parak, it's just what I needed!

But.. how did the diode break?

No idea... this is a pre-production PCB that I got from matt3o, so it's possible that the diode was a dud. I also had to de-solder a switch/LED combo in that area so it's possible that I messed up the diode while desoldering (though there's no physical sign of it). Either way, no damage done!
