Hello!
The DSA LightCycle keyset is now available for pre-order. This set is available for either MX or Alps stems and offers a base kit $80, numpad $20, and compatibility/international iso pack $50. This set will cover a wide array of layouts including many 40% boards, ergodox, and white fox.

Nice one, do you have bigger images of the keysets? These (and all on you webpage) are kinda small

There's a larger one on the GH thread of the main keyset.

Alps stems sound very good.

Agreed.
That's why I joined the GB. I have a KBP-60 with Matias' tactile switches on its way that will be virtually useless to me without the Lightcycle caps.
As far as I can tell, this set will be the only modern (i.e., not harvested from a vintage keyboard) spherical keycap set ever made for Matias/Alps switches. Apart from being the only caps I'll willingly type on (with the KBP-60), they will also be instant collector's items.

BTW, here's a quick render I threw together for the set last night. Apologies for the lack of novelty keys, but I didn't have time to recreate the graphics for them.

In for a full set. Great service putting the international/ISO keycaps all into one big add-on kit. Price seems very reasonable and MOQ is a non-issue that way.
When shipping to the EU, please make sure to fill the customs form (CN22) economically

Will do, I've learned a bit about international shipping since R1 of MiniVan

Have someone seen/used SP DSA ABS double shots in Alps stem?
I have one such cap that is for the MX stem and it is terrible.
It sounds hollow compared to both SP DSA PBT blank caps and some generic cherry g80-3000 post 2000/2005 caps (the keyboards price as new was something like 75 euro).
I'm using them on cherry mx blues switches (from the cherry keyboard) in an ergodox style keyboard.

Just out of curiosity, how come the novelties only appear on one 1.25u key each? The bottom row modifiers mirror each other (aside from FN/MENU), and so having 1.25u novelty keys in pairs is usually the norm.

I have Dolch DSA on a Pok3r with MX Reds and Granite on a Pok3r with MX Reds and you're right, they sound and feel a bit different. I would expect the same to hold true no matter what keyboard or switch they are installed on.
However, aside from blanks (or old keys harvested from very rare vintage boards), there is only one option when it comes to spherical keycaps on Matias/Alps switch mounts: DSA in double-shot ABS.

We put up some good numbers today!

@evangs:
1. I guess it is too late to ask for a "A pack of 10 1x DSA blank keys" added to the group buy, isn't it?
2. What is the orientation of the alps stem for the numpad enter or + 2x keys?

1. That would be correct, sorry :/
2. It is the same orientation as the other keys, meaning the switch on the numpad should be rotated

From the purchase site linked above:

Is the stem orientation of iso enter also rotated?

I don't know, what do ISO alps boards normally do?
