Cable Sleeving

Hey guys,

I've finally sleeved my old coiled cherry cable.
Turned out quite well, I like that the material is actual cloth and not plastic.
It's a relatively thick cord and the added material makes it quite beefy, I like that!

Sleeving a coiled cable was a massive pain in the arse, next time I'll try to sleeve a straight cable and coil it myslef :)
This little thing took me 4 hours to finish :(

Here are some Pictures, enjoy :)

Here are some more pictures of the procedure, if you are interested.

Nice. Where did you get the sleeve from?

It appears to be generic solid core cord from a home improvement store. I like the understated look compared to some folks' ridiculous rainbow paracord monstrosities.

The sleeving material is from an old lamp cable!
Less is more :)
