identify lock system

does anyone know how it is called that lock mechanism where you just press to unlock and press again to lock? it is used to close small doors in consumer electronics without visible hinges.

I guess you mean something like that (push latches):

These keep the panel captive, but there are others that just push the panel to open, like Ikea uses on their cupboard doors.

I have heard them described as "spring-loaded push-latch"... But I don't know if that is the most correct term.
