The original spacebar was shiny as hell (while the modifiers are in perfect shape), so I replaced it with another OG Cherry spacebar that was in mint condition, since I only was interested in the bottom row. 
The thing is, when I stopped using the bottom row on my custom keyboard, I just couldn't find back the original spacebar... Hence the color difference.
(I'm pretty sure that I still have it somewhere, though)
