Such a good deal... I can never get anything for good shipped prices on ebay. Did you PM seller or something?

I think it's possible to get a good deal. As far as I can tell, these typewriters aren't very sought after in the keyboard community..

But as a result, I can't find much reliable info on which typewriters one should look out for. How did you know that this had Alps SKCL Greens, alienman?

Can we see the green Alps SKCL?

Wow, that was kind of a risky move, nice that it paid off though. :)

Looking forward to your build, definitely would like to see how you adapt hasu's PCB to work with the weird bottom row.

And I pick up a typewriter with this..

Oh well. One of these days I'll find Green Alps. But I want to try some new switches first. Futaba clicky switches really interest me, also wanting to try NMB Hi-Tek.

How do you get clean cuts like those?

Nice 5140s by the way, I'm jealous! :P

Ah, I might have to try something like that if I ever need to cut down a plate; the results look very nice. :)

You're lucky also that you have that many 5140s, I've been looking for one for a little while to try out brown alps and its key caps. Good luck with your LZ-GH build!

Thanks for the advice! I'd be interested in the key caps too if you have a set to spare, but yeah, definitely want to try brown alps at some point (funny how getting into alps does that to you). I imagine their unique tactile leaves/switchplate lends to quite an interesting feel.

Anyhow, sorry for the tangent, I'd love to see a build log for your LZ-GH too!

Which is partly why I'd like a confirmation.
