(Images in this link above) I recently bought this convertor for my apple keyboard, in used condition. At first my win7 computer recognizes it and drivers are installed, but it couldn't register key presses.
Then I poked out the battery that's inside with a screwdriver, while it's still connected with my computer. Then replaced it with a new battery. After this, my computer no longer recognises it, nothing happens. It seems to be dead...
However when the battery is taken out, then connecting to the computer, the computer gives sounds that indicates it keeps connecting and disconnecting quickly.
There's a tiny SMD LED at the centre of it, which flashes only when the battery is out.
Is there any way to reset it ? Or is it dead ?
I've tried to re-solder the connections.
Thanks for your attention, and help.
