Oh wow, the rare "Froot Loops in the Sky" Model M!

Did you find it with that layout, or did you find scattered, painted keys and jam them in whatever hole was empty?

It was just like that in the box. Somebody was surely bored!

Kindergarten control panel :D

Too bad the spacebar is missing. I wonder how much worse they handled it, since it's convex.

Maybe they did it to retrofit it as a kids' toy... A heavy kid's toy. A DANGEROUS kid's toy.

Makes you wonder what some people do to their poor Model Ms. I don't even want to start with that one video of some guy smashing and burning what he considers a "dumb old keyboard", which just so happens to be a Model M.

I see nothing really unusual here, just someone who was way ahead of the actual trend:

I bet it is meant to be art. If you clean and restore it perfectly, you destroy a masterpiece in modern art.

I'll be honest, I kind of like the idea. Horrible execution though.

Looks like an experiment that ultimately led to Handarbeit. Sure, it is hideous, but not moreso than plenty of other keyboards I've seen featuring an explosion of colors that their owners are so very proud of.

Just throw the entire thing in a bucket of acetone and see what happens. :P
