Hi,

just to break Haata's combo! I've recently found a keypad with reed switches on ebay.de. It features doubleshot keycaps which are a pain to pull off, it looks like they were glued on. This thing is really heavy, almost full metal. The spring weight is also really heavy, I'd guess around 100g, so I think this was for industrial purposes and not for everyday use. All the keys still work, it would be nice to connect it to a teensy sometime.
The sliders have a little magnet attached which activates the reed switches, the sliders protrude fully through the keypad. There are even some damper rings installed, which have gone really brittle and don't dampen anymore at all. They once dampened the up and down stroke. The magnet resides on the other side of the dampers, but they are really hard to photograph without taking the whole thing apart.

Unfortunately there is no information about the keypad on it. Does anyone recognize this piece?
