Cherry G81-3011SBU - The Ultimate Olivetti

Without a doubt my greatest single find to date.. An Olivetti keyboard with original Cherry dyesubs in ANSI layout. None of that doubleshot rubbish! Also, these are genuine Cherry dyesubs, not those weird ones found on some Olivettis. Fully MX compatible!

This is the first of its kind I've seen. I've seen one other set like this belonging to QINQIN, but that set seems to be a frankenset going by the 2" key and some of the numpad keys which seem to be Spanish.

You'll notice in one of the pics it says G81-3011SBC.. No idea why that's the case! Also, worth noting that I put a Leeku PCB in there since the G81 membrane had those horrible type-2 white MY switches which require you to nearly break the keycaps in order to take them off

I'm not a huge fan of Olivetti. I much prefer regular black on beige dyesubs.. So send me your trade offers

Really nice find. Now I just have to sell an organ to get something I can trade with you.

Though, even the case would be nice, so that I could team it up with a Triumph Adler keyset.

it's as mint as mine ISO-PT one! but just have to say I do prefer the Olivetti "doubleshots rubbish" lol... call me silly :/

Anyway, this indeed is a very nice keyboard, even if of course it doesn't beat black on beige dyesubs
