Finally did a Unicomp order, IBM bits for my SSK.
Pretty excited and hope the quality meets my (high) expectations.
I opted for the RGB printed kit, F, J, Delete in orange and a red Esc key.
Will post photos in due course.
Unicomp order...

Thanks, I have been hesitating for months and my sister is in the US, so just thought, what the hell, its like less than $40 FFS! But then the postage within the USofA wasn't that cheap, the saving was £6.50 so I just had them all sent to me directly to avoid messing. I saw some pretty sweet photos online of the orange delete key on 122 IBM KBs, and think it will look good and be useful. Likewise I also opted for an unprinted LIGHT and DARK BLUE, for screen adjustment, I have F11 and F12 for this, and adjust the brightness a lot!

Unicomp blanks are fine. Their printing is what's far from great. Much better to mix Unicomp blanks with classic IBM caps than to hope for legends that don't clash. And better to go for purposefully eye catching colours than to hope for a good match…

Yep I've read this and am inclined to agree but never having handled their offerings, I'll report back in due course. Thanks M.Muirium wrote:Unicomp blanks are fine.
