My brother-in-law's town of Wimberley was just about wiped out due to floods. His wife could not get home from work; she spent the night in her truck, and got home safely the next morning.
Here in Kerrville, we have had over 20 inches of rain so far this month!

Record amounts have fallen all over the state. We were all practically wiped out by flooding.

I saw it on the news, hang in there guys. Flooding ain't no joke.

Wow, sorry to hear that. I was in a car with an American colleague who broke the news to me. He said he's from Austin. It's not normal, right? This is not due to Hurricane Katrina or something?
