The gray used with the CADET sets, referred to as SPH gray, is color code GD. The gray used with the Honeywell sets is color code GPA. They are very similar (almost indistinguishable under many lighting conditions), but they are technically different shades of gray.

It is also worth mentioning that the shade of white used for the legends is different on the SPH gray and BLUE keycaps than that used on the Honeywell keycaps.

Just change the shifts, for now

Edit: Also, why are the shift175 all row 3? Apparently, SP has had 1.75u R4 molds for a while
Yes what about row 4 shift175? Also wondering about the cursor kits now, with the R3 "up" keys. If the right shift is going to be R4, then can we get cursor kits with R4 "up" keys? There are arrow keys available in this configuration, but not "up" "down" "left" right" key kits in this configuration. On 75% boards the right shift is adjacent to the "up" key, so they would need to be the same profile.

We did not have 1.25, 2.25 and 2.75 in row 4, so the decision was to leave all other SHIFT keys in row 3, because it would look funny if you had a 1.25 or 2.25 units SHIFT at the left in row 3 and the 1.75 units in row 4 on the right.
:o

Now, this is no longer the case.

We are not talking about the bottom row to get row 4 profile. This would be stupid.

What I will do, is changing all SHIFTs in all kits to row 4 but add row 3 SHIFTs
for those who want them to stay in row 3.

Having the main typing area in their proper rows and the modfiers all in row 3 is not a too bad idea. This was the route we went with Round 4.

Does that means that the HONEYB/SHIFT175/BLACK I ordered to complete my board will end up having a different row ?

If I want to replace all my shifts with row 4 ones can I buy them separately ?

Yes, but you can order the HONEYB/SHIFT175R3/BLACK !
:-)

I will update the wiki within a few days!

There are up to 5 more keys possible for this kit (including that blank which will not be in the final kit).

also available in other colors ...

These where not so really popular.
:-(

In which color do you need it?
:?
I'd also be very interested in a 3 unit spacebar for a Minila Air. I'd like both white and black and if you have grey, that too.

It's worse to type on too.

I have both Round5 and Retro, and I prefer the R3 bottom row of Round5. People generally use their thumbs to activate the bottom row modifiers, so the sharper edge of R4 mods digs into the thumbs.

I agree , and any odd keys that are needed for the ISO air .

Address + name are correct
This is for invoice 0345.

Thanks.

I mean the SHIFT keys, not the modifiers in the bottom row!

I've got the feeling yours is one of those orders that either came back or had no name on it.

Next shipping day is tomorrow.

Any news on this? I have still not recieved any thing.

Is it possible to request a refund? I have not been keeping up on this thread for a while, and dire economic straits have struck.

Found your money.
:-)

Because I've cleared your order, I've looked for it in the messages to the bot and also found messages in which you told the bot that you paid. Would have been better to bug me instead.
:-)

However:
You missed nothing, nothing has been delayed. Your HONEYB order is currently in preparation (SP started to make the tools for the new legends).

When is the payment deadline ? for 5a ? Can i order now and pay on 14th ?

I will further back up what janvkn said by pointing out that even the edges of R3 keys on the thumb row dig into my thumbs unless the keyboard is angled up with the pull-out feet. Putting R4 keys there would make the situation even worse, IMO.

I'm very glad to see that 7bit isn't planning on putting R4 mods on the bottom row ala SA Retro.

Thank you very much! Do you know if there are other keys special to the Minila that are not available in this round? I think they are all there but if you know of something missing please advise. Thanks again.

It's your task to find that out!

How about a 1U, R3 "transmit"? I'd be into a red one.

I'm afraid, it can only be a TRANS-,MIT key (the text in 2 rows). However, we already have an XMIT key.

5 or 6 3 keys can be added. Anything goes!

edit: I can't wait any longer, so I add keys I think I want myself.

I'd be cool with XMIT.
