I didn't type that

and I have nothing to do with GH

ehh.. it was written in the mail from SP of which you posted the full content here. I thought it was obvious I had taken the quote from that.

I know. But quoting it that way makes it look like I did it. Which is bothering me since this GB has nothing to do with GH

@Broadmonkey
Yes, it is obvious that Omikron had just quoted SP's Melissa,
but only if one reads those few posts in one go.
Otherwise it really looks as if you were quoting an original post by Omikron.
I understand he doesn't like it
I would suggest you edit your post and modify the first tag
from (of course keep the square brackets)
{quote="Omikron"}
to
{quote="Omikron (quoting SP's Melissa)"}
It will then appear as:
Omikron (quoting SP's Melissa) wrote:

Actually, Omikron set this mess up by posting the contents of the e-mail as plain text, and not as a quote.

kakarlsen (who of course is absolutely right, kbdfr says) wrote:Actually, Omikron set this mess up by posting the contents of the e-mail as plain text, and not as a quote.

see quoting legend
But even if Omikron now edits
his post, this will not change Broadmondkey's.

This GB has ended, hasn't it? It is still listed as active in

Ordering has ended, the caps haven't been produced yet, so the GB isn't really over.
Posted: 18 May 2014, 13:14
by Muirium
Yes.
We could use a better status, like "orders closed", for this. The caps are still waiting to be manufactured, but the sale closed weeks ago.

I don't mind asking, so as long as you don't mind reading those question you may keep it the way it is

I guess "Sold" would work as well.

Muirium, I agree. The problem is that people as fyx browse the “sellout-and-group-buys” thread, see it still open, think the GB is active and that they may still order.

got the first pictures for the granite set!
OMG they are fantastic! I probably have to make some very little updates to the legends, nothing too serious.
I'll post some pictures later or tomorrow.

Fantastic! Later is better than tomorrow! Or do you have to shop / edit the pics?

Request: how do the colours match up with DSA Dolch? Hopefully Dolch can serve as my second set of alphas for Granite!

close up
Overall I'm satisfied by the end result
The legend reflects the grainy texture, but consider that this is a super close up. The numlock was one of the "problematic" legends with lines close to each other and still it came out really really well.
if you look at it at 1:1 is simply fantastic.

the dark mods are really nice with light gray granite alpha. A very nice contrast!

Ooh, snazzy! Love the look, especially... Wait, is that Z upside down? And maybe the X too... Yay, DSA!

Seems it was a good decision, that I participated in the GB. Matt3o your passion into perfection is impressive. Have you had korean ancestors? ;o)
Posted: 23 May 2014, 08:36
by matt3o
no korean, but here in Florence we had a good share of perfectionists
