Just got the novelty key set in like, Thursday. They came out pretty nice.

I guess I have to look at some Evangelion anime stuff to get it...
I'm a big reader/collector of comics and BD (Mignola, Fabio Moon and Gabriel Ba, Hugo Pratt,Uderzo and Goscinny, Stan Sakai and his Usagi Yojimbo, and I can go on like this for hours ), watch cartoons with great pleasure, love Paul Rudish and his nearly absurd creations, but anime and manga I guess are an acquired taste. As I don't like to pass judgment without through study I added both on my list

Start with some classics, take Ghost in the Shell, best manga you'll ever read, and the only manga you need if you plan to read only one. If you like it, take Appleseed, too. Then continue to Berskerk (or even Hokuto no Ken). If you are still there, the sky is the limit.

I'm not an manga fan at all but Ghost in the Shell has been on my "need to read" list for about 100 years and it always seems to get shuffled down in favour of something else. Maybe when I finish this run through Trasnmet I'll give it a crack.

My caps arrived… thousands of miles away, at my brother's, as planned.

He opened up the box to check what's there for me, and wondered why the hell there were so many caps in there. Uh, yeah, difficult to describe to the uninitiated!

He did, however, take a shining to Matt's wife's kitty cap, and took it for himself.

Bonus: attempting to take good pictures of the caps finally convinced him to go looking for a real macro lens. His fancy pants glass is all crummy at close distance.

Of course, this also means I've no sweet keycap porn to share here… for now. Dangit.

just to be clear, I was referring to the comic book by Masamune Shirow, not the animation movie (which is good anyway).
