Just order some to bring the quantity up.
Currently, I'm the only one who ordered switches.

Goly wrote:Hi, I have some questions and probably are in #1 but mi english is so bad and i didnt understand all...
I have a few alps in home, Are they going to fit in the keyboard?
I haven no idea of soldering or mounting... How im going to do it? Are there some tutorials?
I dont know what to order to get all the keyboard except for the switches. I want a distribution like the Filco ANSI...
Can i get Apls keys? They are going to be double shot?
Sorry if my english is so bad, i tried mi best. Cheers.
No need to apologise!
I can only answer that question about the key caps. Signature Plastics is able to make key caps for ALPS, but there was not much demand in my group buy, so they had to go.
There might be a way to add the ALPS switches, but that still would require an ALPS mount-plate.

Hi Goly. Take a a look at the third post in the thread for some examples. The first example there is for an ANSI layout with 1.5x modifiers.
For example, this is what I would order or myself for an ANSI layout using my Cherry 1.5 modifiers and MX red switches (CTRL and ALT on both sides of the spacebar):
Code: Select all
TEENSY 1
PHANTOM 1
PHANSI 1
DIODE 100 //order a few more diodes in case you break one. They are super cheap.
MXRED 90 //order a few more switches for backup just in case
litster@domain.com
This keyboard design is for use of Cherry MX switches only. It doesn't support Alps.
EDIT: 7bit got to it just before I did

I'll order some for sure, also I need to order from Group buy 4, just need to find some time to clear my mind on what I want/need.

Thanks guys
So the only problem are the key caps? I can order from the round 4 right? Perfect then

I read that Lister is going to soldering the keyboards of the people who dont konw how to make it... The keyboard is going to be mounted without the switches?
How can I mount the keyboard ? Are going to be some tutorials before the parts come?
Mi order its like this, right?:
TEENSY 1
PHANTOM 1
PHANSI 1
DIODE 100
Cheers

No, no, no. I am not doing any soldering service. Half-Saint is offering his soldering service for EU buyers. Please contact him directly on cost and shipping arrangement.
Your order is correct if you don't need any switches. Now send a PM to PHANTOM here on DT with that order.

Sorry i forgot the name. I will order when Half-Saint and i have talked.
Thanks again

ordered a clear set + case for now but there is a chance that depending on my financial situation at the time, i may cancel the order (not that likely). also i'm not sure whether i need the case or not

Here is a acrylic case example:

These couple of sites could do custom case with its design software in acrylic.

If anyone could contribute to a case design with these shops or other shops, please PM me. Thanks.

Is there any ability to get grey Cherry MX switches for the space bar?

Just order:

Oh, OK, I already PM'd an order though... should I resubmit entire order or send supplemental?
how to differentiate the two grey switches? I would prefer the tactile (I think that's the lighter?) grey to match clear switches...
thanks!

Another question, I have to write the soldering in the order?

Soldering is for checking. If you need the service, then we remember to ship your parts to the soldering service guy.

No deadline yet. But we will have one soon. I am talking to the Phantom team offline now to decide the next steps. We already have 32 PCBs on the order list. We can actually start PCB production pretty much any time. When we decide it is a good time to do that, I think we will close the group buy, collect money for the PCBs and plates so we can produce these two major items. That will take a while. While waiting we can finish the order with switches and diodes. We still do not have a sources for stabilizers except WASD Keyboard said they will have some stabilizers in December and January. We have no idea how much he will order and have in stock later.
Sixty, 7bit said blainchen can source us Cherry switches of all colours.

The dark blue ones (navy blue - actually very different from normal blues) seem to be an ancient variant though, I would be surprised if any shop had these in store still, since they were probably a mistake to begin with
