Data General 6246-A Dasher (sadly not the pretty blue Dasher, but still nice): http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Data-Ge ... 1035797539

I'm very curious about the Cyrillic keyboards, I don't recognise the switches in any of them.
The Pravetz ones all look like they're magnetic reed (they used a rather strage orthogonal design). The soviet ones prop up from time to time (I posted one of them once myself xD) but people keep saying they're rubber dome.

Wiki suggests the Tandy is SKCC tall cream, no clue what the Data General is xD .

As for the Ortek; it looks suspiciously like a dressed-up AppleDesign keyboard to me Oo .

EDIT: the blue bear has one of the Pravetzes, he recorded a typing video. They sound really scratchy though, you can hear that good old vintage squeak in there.

I just bought my first keyboard from Japan by using J-Subculture, they are really easy to use. ;)

That is correct, pretty horrible switch.

I have a Datalux, and I can say with certainty that MEI are one if the worst, if not the worst, switches I've ever had the displeasure of using.

Another example of this blue alps trackball keyboard is up on ebay. Seems as if the seller has taken the final bid of the first auction as the going rate and priced this one accordingly. It can be yours for the paltry sum of $295 BIN.

Yeah... I tried to talk him into auctioning it off, but no dice.

He's a really nice chap that had no idea what sort of a gold mine he stumbled into. I explained the whole Blue and Green Alps^thick keycaps phenomena to him.

He just joined here, so hopefully he'll be able to find more cool boards in a future buy. (He does arcade and retrocomputing stuff most of the time, it seems.)

The keycaps on these are Cherry compatible... At this price it's getting tempting.

Group buy! I'll take one with all of the caps if you get the set.

Alright, XMIT. I'll throw down a bid or two and we'll see what happens.

NeXT non ADB keyboard with small Enter and white tactile Alps switches. The second and third photos are pictures of the actual keyboard posted after messaging the seller. I would like this one for myself but instead I'll pass it on to you.

Same seller as I got the black Alps NeXT haul from. Same price, too.

I spy a Wang terminal with an extremely familiar looking keyboard.

My offer was accepted immediately at $13. Might go down to $10.

An Omnikey -- which appears to have the same build quality as the older models -- with Windows keys.

As I recall they had to use Alps clones for the later models of Omnikey though.

Yes a prime example of how it has "made the round" that there is money to be made with old keyboards. It looks nice but 150 Euros is ridiculous. Now if it was G80-1000 HFD new in box.

Anyone here buy it? It's definitely a beam spring but it's probably pretty rusty so I thought twice and it was gone. That was quick :) I'd love to hear about the restoration. My restoration is actually going pretty well.

That would be me!

Christmas present for myself! Shipping is going to be a bitch though!

Well, best of luck on the restoration, chzel! Hopefully it looks worse than it is.

Thanks!
It has all the caps, and the pad card should be quite resilient, so the biggest bet is the condition of the switches.
