Nah, I do not confirm. It's one of those Cherries with annoying stickers you can't read.

The keyboard seems too thin to have switches (see the images from the back). It looks more like rubber dome. But it may have alps/cherry compatible keycaps
UPDATE: the image wasn't added to the auction, but the seller DID pull a keycap!

Alps-compatible, at the very least. He says both keyboards have identical switches.

Thank you so much for posting these :D :D I bought the first one, it looks exactly like the TaiHao Cyrillic caps i have on my Filco. My V60 is using the stock caps and these will be perfect for it :D

I wonder if TaiHao makes the caps on the second board, the Cyrillic print looks smaller.

Kickass! Be sure to keep us posted on what the switches actually are - Alps, slider over dome, Alps clone, or what.

I'll be getting some nice doubleshot Alps caps of my own, though I may end up just converting this board: should be green Alps! Nabbed it from Yahoo JP Auctions.

As for some deals:

Dell AT101s, not a great price but you can offer: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121838169353

Not sure what switches but the LED switches have to be Green or Yellow unless they are clones: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221967941909

I sent an offer of $20 for this, old KPT switches with Cyrillic lettering: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181947469212

Sure thing, ill be opening up the board to inspect it and will take some pictures. I have a feeling it will be slider over domes though

Nice find greens are amazing, i like them equally to blues. Are you going to use the board as is or desolder the switches and install them in another board?

Was thinking about buying that board a week ago, but it had Bulgarian layout Cyrillic so i decided not to.

I sent a message asking the seller to remove a cap, hopefully there real Greens and not clones.

I'm definitely in the same camp as luigi: I find blues and greens are my favorites in the Alps world. Lately, I've been finding tactile Alps to not be my cup of tea all that much. I do like orange Alps, but salmons... They're okay. Just got brown tactile Alps in and meh. They're alright too.

They're just not very interesting to me, I suppose.

I'll probably try converting it with a Teensy first but I'm not totally sure yet.

Don't get your hopes up too much, Greens are unlikely. I also forgot that Gray and Brown Alps can be fitted with LEDs too.

Regarding various types of Alps switches, I agree with others who have reported that the sound and feel of the switch is highly dependent on the particular keyboard, whether or not the switches are dirty, and how much use they have had. Overall, I have had the best luck with complicated white Alps. I have a Suntouch Jr. with white Alps; this board provides a superb typing experience.

I just looked that up, looks like a great layout. I personally would prefer ANSI enter and the backslash above it, but eh... I've got a Minitouch with Alps clones and will soon have one of those NTC boards from the other thread that was up this week. I think I'd prefer the Suntouch over both of them to be honest.

I've always shied away from these, but it might be a good idea to try them out. Perhaps I should also give brown tactiles another chance too. I felt the same way about some Amber Alps I've tried , that they were much too tactile (and also had a click that was much less satisfying than blue Alps).

It's so strange. The tactility is soft alone, very -rounded-, if I can put it in to words. It's quite the ramp up, as you can see in the tactile dummy plate, the way the leaf is. Then, it drops. You don't feel it much with a deliberate, light press. This is unlike MX clears or ergo clears, where every press always has a distinct bump.

Brown tactile Alps has a very tactile feedback when combined with the bottom out. Tactility with Alps has always been so perplexing to me.

Salmon Alps are, ime, the closest to MX clears in that they do have that distinct tactility no matter how light or deliberate the press.

Oranges have a much lighter bump, but like browns, it's amplified by the bottom out.

IME, bottoming out is a huge aspect of the typing experience with Alps. Blue Alps sound better, tactile Alps feel more tactile, etc. For example, the click alone in a blue Alps switch, I think, is only part of the great sound and feel it has. The bottoming out gives the metallic click a very solid feel and bassier sound. Also, since it's practically impossible NOT to bottom out on Alps, it's almost an integral part of the typing experience!

E3E: It would perhaps be helpful and instructive to compile force-displacement curves for the various types of Alps switches and clones.

Preference is what it is. ;) Not my favorite switch either though. What's it's worth in $$$ is relative of course.
