I thought 2016 was for Round 5.
Let's say 2019.

HONEYB sounds and looks more sexy than
HONEYA!
sean4star wrote: The 25% Autumn Sale applies to Round 5a too, right?

Yes, sure!
When prices go down, people who ordered and paid right now get lower prices, too.

What colour code is Cream?

I assume "RDE/WV violet on white", as mentioned on the
Round 5a wiki

What's 50 (25%) about? Code for "ideally distributed 200"? Anyway, if we can get down to $3 for space bars, that would be encouraging.

Those codes are for "violett" and white. Believe it or not: Round 5a has separate white and cream colours. Cream is the one I want to ID. I'm very likely to grab some blue alphas, but I want to check my colour table for the cream set.

Seems SP does not have all colors on their color sample rings. I don't have RDE, BTW.
WV is the color used for text in Round 4.
25%: The 25% rebate is applied to your payment. Once order flooding in, prices fall down and you pay effectively the price in the 50 (25%) column!
BTW: Does anybody know how much they (SP) charge for shipping?
Here, you have to pay $7, no matter how many kits you order, unless you want special shipping!

So "cream" is just the "not-as-white-as-Round5" white (WV) from Round 4 legends, right?
It's on the photo, and it does look creamy.

Yes.
Now I see it.
It is next to WA (pure white), so this photo is really bad.

Same. Purple and cream? And here I thought 2 KBs + 1 numpad in black/white/red would do me...

Are there leftovers from Round 4 SPH as well, so you could for example buy a complete german SPH TKL set?

No, but don't worry, 7bit will add that option at circa deadline #5 ...

What are the chances of 40% kits for the 5a stuff? My girlfriend likes the purple and cream but it'll need to fit a JD40...

Round 5A would have been a top up. This is turning into full blown Round 6!
Someone with the samples can take a picture of these specific colours. Back when I had the samples, my macro was too long to fit all of them in one shot! So out came the iPad camera…
Actually, here's a proper one. WV (Round 4 SPH "cream") is not in this image, but you can see just how white WFK is so I guess theyre quite different.

Numpads! I'm in.
These have Super and Meta; any chance we could get Hyper?

How different are the SPH and Round5 greys? Would Round5 grey still look good together with the SPH blue?
Posted: 23 Sep 2014, 19:11
by 7bit
I'm quite sure they look good, but the 2 greys would bite each other.
BTW: You can actually order these, this is not an interest check!

I was only going to go for one R5 keyboard, but now I'm really tempted to go for these designs as well:
First the classic Space Cadet look for one of my Poker II's:
Then this:
Inspired by a Control Data Corporation terminal keyboard from the seventies:

I'm considering buying SPH mods + Round 5 alphas and DE kit, to have a Space Cadet keyset, but in German ISO. Are you planing to do a rerun of the SPH International kits, 7bit?

To make one thing clear from the beginning:
This is to use up keys that are still available because they are leftovers resulting from MOQs.
This is not to make more leftovers!!!
Also: MOQ is 25 kits!
Also: This is still Round 5 (and a bit of Round 4), but not Round 6!!!!

My head hurts.
So half of Round 5a is directly compatible with round 5 as its the same colour scheme, but the other half is round 4 colours right?
So which grey is grey in round 5a? If you take a honeyb/tkl is it:
WFK/GPA white on grey (Round5/HONEY)
WFK/NN white on black (Round5/HONEY)
or
WV/GD white on grey (ROUND4/SPH)
(so if you wanted to add international bits from R5 would colours match?)

GPA is the grey that is shared between R5 and R5a. In the name of the set it is always referred to as GREY (e.g. HONEYB/ALPHA/GREY)
GD is the grey from R4. In the name of the set, it is referred to as SPH (e.g. HONEYB/ALPHA/SPH)

No full 105 key ISO layout spacecadet blue/grey keyboard makes me a sad panda.
It makes my wallet pretty happy though.

Well.
The cream looks delicious! And the duck dominance is downright impressive.
I guess maybe ISO support could follow later when the 7bot in-tray is overflowing?

BTW: I can offer HONEYB/BEPOALPHA/SPH

Any way to get a 1.75x shift in round 5a?
