Somehow i managed to omit getting a white set of alphas of any sort, so i hope the aftermarket or resellers have them somewhere lol.

I had the same issue, i think i have most of the d-pads, but the nav cluster was pretty much gone as soon as i placed my first order

For what it's worth, I'll have most of a HONEY/CURSORBASE/RED available.
I need the Print and Delete keys only, and the row 2 red Delete key is still available in HONEY/FUNCTION/RED and HONEY/FUNCTION/RED/OVR1.

Side legends are always pad printed. (Or laser infilled? Maybe younger caps than these.) My newly acquired beam spring has better side legends than the few on the Honeywell:

That one's going to be a lot of work, I suspect. But it feels magnificent: the best of buckling spring crossed with Topre.

Round 5 was so close. There was a rumour that Round 6 might include side pad printing, but that was a long time ago...
That would have been to include APL legends I think.

Ah, good catch. I won't have a spare set in grey, but eventually I might just have all of the keys spare - my 8200 design will use a very customised block there that might end up using none of those keys. I'll let you know when I do!

I'd really like a set of sphericals for my Fs and Ms, too. It is kinda, sorta possible to do, actually. But definitely not cheap. SP would need new tooling for the new "stem": a great big empty square box!

Well, one thing to bear in mind is how two-piece IBM caps actually snap together. The top part (I'm calling "cap") is thin and flexible compared to the bottom part which is wedge shaped (I'm going with "slider" just to tell them apart). The cap actually bends outwards when you put it on, as a couple of little nubs clip over the matching dents on the slider's lower edge. Without that mating mechanism, your Model M would spill all its caps when you lift it up 90º.

The flex is all in the cap, rather than the slider, I think. They're comparatively flimsy PBT, which we're talking about replacing with nice chunky doubleshot ABS. Something's got to give…

Yeah, they probably make more sense. But I'm not sure they're easy to make, either. Anyone know the material Unicomp uses for those "sliders"? (To use my own term for the bottom ones.) I suspect their complex shape is all quite necessary for the mechanism to work; they essentially house the spring itself as it works.

i guess we could ask them, they also still have tooling for 1 part caps as some of the caps i recently ordered ( win ) was 1 part cap.

i think one of the good things about older IBM caps ( 1 part f's ) is they just feel thicker and more solid, a thick abs cap would do that but how would you fit the IBM stem in that without it being HUGE!

Yep, grey cluster here too! I didn't even notice it until today, I just assumed they were in that huge group of function keys in HONEY/FUNCTION7B (which I don't have a lot of use for, but it's just so cool I couldn't not pick it up). And now that I look at it, it does have Home and End in R3 profile.

My only gripe about this whole group buy is the fact that the 1.25unit Alt Graphic key is labeled ALT GR instead of ALT GRAPH. So you could say all in all, I'm pretty satisfied.
