A friend of mine been telling me that the 2 books after Chapterhouse are not that bad and offer closure to the whole Golden Path thingie and I was just telling him I decided to give them a shot (been holding out on those for like 10 years).

I've been wanting to go a bit deeper into the Dune universe (Duniverse?) since I read the first one a few years back, heard lots of mixed things about it though so I'm probably going to give it a miss for the time being.


Anywho, I had a little peek in the box and there was some sweeties loose and a present wrapped up at the bottom, I'm going to take the sweeties for now and save the present until December. If no one does it before, I'll make the picture thread when I'm back at home tonight.

Thanks Santa, I'm filling up on German sweeties today and I still have something to look forward to closer to Crimble .

I have not shipped my gift yet, it will be shipped next week, I am in a bit of a struggle right now (financialy and academicaly) so I have to solve these problems before I can go and send my gift, so if my giftee finds it strange that the gift hasn't arrived, please be patient, it will come

Whatever the situation may be, we need clarification fast. Don't want to exclude him unnecessarily. But don't want someone getting the surprise gift of Jack Shit either!

After browsing through the gh thread, I agree with gogusrl, sethk's giftee will most likely end up with an empty sock.

Strange. Whenever I see a GH thread, I start to notice familiar avatars and usernames, for the first few seconds before I have to go lie down.

My Secret Santa gift arrived today! Of course I haven't opened it, I just wanted my Canadian Santa to know that it arrived safely.

So have we excluded Sethk yet? Really does look like he's a thief. If we don't act, he gets a free present to add to all his loot, and someone else here gets ripped off.

My impression from a GH thread is that he's not so much a thief, as biting off more than he can chew. He seems to be focusing on completing a current project before making new shipments.

I'm not confident that he is able to ship a Secret Santa item for a Dec 25th arrival unless he comes here and says otherwise. We can discuss his intents in another thread but from what I've seen he's swamped.
