The boxed one looks nice indeed. Even if it's in its younger brother's box!

It's funny, my M0110 came in a M2519 box too! It's as if someone bought the M2519 to replace the M0110 and put it in the new box!

Believe it or not, but I hear from old Mac users (the kind who bought the 1984 model new) that the 60% keyboard we and Prof. Wada prize so much was never considered any good by the users at the time. They thought the fat sequel that came out with the Mac Plus was a huge improvement. I even heard one guy complain that when he upgraded his 1984 Mac 128k to a Mac Plus (by taking it to a dealer for an Apple provided motherboard swap) he was peeved when it came back home in his dad's car with the original keyboard instead of the new one. His folks had already forked out all the cash for the internals upgrade, and denied his pleas for a new keyboard. So he used that Mac Plus for many years, forever with the "wrong" keyboard, which occasionally bit him in the arse when games assumed everyone had the "full" size. He sulked for long enough apparently to remember it well and moan about it to me, decades later!

The reason the M0110 is so small is that Apple purposefully kept cursor keys off it so Apple II style software would be impossible to use on the Mac. You were forced to use the mouse. Users didn't much like that. I can understand why. Just imagine an HHKB without the Fn key…

Well, I guess Apple marketing hasn't changed that much?
Imagine the M0110 with an Fn key...dreamy!

that's what I read also. Jobs and the Woz wanted to push acceptance of the mouse which was still a somewhat new input device at the time. Of course they were really trying to move users toward their new graphical OS.

Shame they pushed everyone towards the mouse and not the superior input device known as the trackball :)

If you've been looking for over a century you might want to be a tad more flexible with the layout. :O

Massdrop has a Bluetooth Varmilo TKL as a drop at the moment:
https://www.massdrop.com/buy/varmilo-vb87m-bluetooth

If I had not bought that same keyboard in the corded version (and with the mint green caps  ) I would be all over that. If the hardware is the same apart from the bluetooth as their usual TKL, it is a really solid board (the 'p' character has some issues in the font used for dye sublimation, if you look closely)

This uses keytronic foam and foil switches rubber dome switches right? It's actually a lot cooler than I first thought, this is particularly interesting.

I've missed out on 2 Das 2s in the last couple of months, I'd be all over this if it was ISO :(.

Doubt it. These are usually foam and foil, rubber dome or similar. If you are after Space Invaders I have about 25 complete boards for sale.

Ooooh ... we definitely need a European Massdrop clone! Shipping and taxes have already killed quite a few of their deals for me.
