That price it not decent for German dyesubs, something like 40-50€ would be ok, but still not that great.

I never saw german dyesubs being sold for that, always >60€

Those are in dollars and include shipping so I guess it's a decent price.

The last SADs I've seen on Ebay.de did always go for around 40€ (+-10€).

True, I see G81-****SAD on ebay.de now and then for under 30EUR. Most often the Highscreen branded ones for cheap, just keep an eye out.

It's on Ebay for like two monthes. I already posted that here. Don't understand why it's still not sold, while people buy 90$ sets on Reddit.

Was on it just before you posted it... Had the time to send a message to the seller... Hoping really hard...
By the way, posting that kind of stuff here is not going to help the seller...

My $750 offer is not valid for those boards..

Sorry

But yeah, QWERTZ = much lower value. Even if they were NIB, nobody would pay close to $750 for them, not even the craziest of people.

I know. My smiley was just for fun.
Anyway, the seller is not answering to me anymore.

I received this email from
Symbolics today. I checked in my mail archive, they must have gotten my email address in 2009 when I bought a 3600 and 3620 from them and asked some questions. Slowest mailing list ever.
Subject: Symbolics sales on eBay
You are receiving this email because you previously expressed an
interest in Symbolics products in the past. We are in the process of
consolidating two storage facilities into one new one. To reduce the
amount that needs to be moved we are liquidating some of the inventory
that is not needed for future operations.
Along with auctions for 36xx boards and other spare parts we are
going to sell the following 4 MacIvory systems in serial auctions one
after the other:
1. MacIvory model 3 with 8 MWords in a Quadra 700 with 20 MBs and a
9GB 10000 rpm disk
2. MacIvory model 3 with 8 MWords in a Mac IIci with 20 MBs, a 4GB
7200 rpm disk and a Radius Accelerated 24-bit graphics card
3. MacIvory model 2 with 2.6 MWords in a Mac IIfx with 20 MBs, a 4GB
7200 rpm disk, a Radius Accelerated 24-bit graphics card and an
ethernet card
4. MacIvory model 2 with 1.3 MWords in a Quadra 650 with 64 MBs and
a 9GB 10000 disk
I will send you a link to each auction as they are put on line.
If you are interested in any 36xx part that you don't see an auction
for, email me for a quote.

When did production of Model M's in Scotland stop?
I've one dated from 01-05-1997.

There was someone here who had a mid '98 made one. Don't recall who it was, though.

again Deutschland, 3 Cherry G80-1800:
Before I put the links, I am interested in the first one (the one for 5E). Would any of you be able to tell me if it has cherry MX switches? I am wary of contacting the seller as I do not know German but I think he ships outside Germany:
The one I'm interested in (5 Euro and USB):

3 Euro and PS2:

Black one with USB for 10 Euro:

The first 2 are G80s so will defo have MX (black) switches, the last one is unspecified as far as I can see so there is a chance it might be a G81 and have MY switches.

Generally everything with g80 is MX and g81's are MY. so it should be mx

CUMB.de is back! Germans will probably remember
Im 90% sure that is MX. Those keyboards are all the same and have been sold on Amazon, eBay.de as well as the eBay classifieds where derzemel just dug them out again. They are all branded for the same company (Lauer Fischer) but they scratch out the Logo before they ship them. I ordered 5 or 6 keyboards from them and they were almost all the same, some with more, some with less wear, some dirty, some spotless, some PS2 and some USB, a bunch of grey ones but also 1 black one
and they were all Cherry MX Black. So don't worry.
However I don't expect them to ship worldwide, I don't know where you get this information, derzemel?
And I really don't expect them to speak english well. My communication with them has always been weird as they rarely reply and barely spoke German.

Cumb is a weird place...ive met them personally and it is the last leftover from a mans IT empire of the 90s. The owner is smart and a shrewd businessman, but doesnt have much in terms of IT-knowledge. Most of his employees do not speak good english or german and getting through to them can be difficult.

I actually got one that was still branded with the Lauer Fischer logo! It came from a DT user though, so I'm not sure if it was a really old one.
