Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

It kind of looks like an old Wyse
Finally one I can almost certainly identify.textadventurer wrote: 25 May 2020, 14:15 Hi folks, my first post here. Picked up this keyboard. It has no logo or stickers, and I don't know what it is. It has some German keys on it (ß), and a key saying "EXTRA TEKEN" which is Dutch. The connector is of a phone cord type.
Anybody knows what this is?

Yeah I would stay away from this one. Not in great shape and I'd say it's VERY likely it has domes.textadventurer wrote: 25 May 2020, 15:45 Thanks for the lead! I found this page which looks to have the same keyboard: https://archiwum.allegro.pl/oferta/star ... 09903.html
I'll try to find out if it has rubber domes, but it feels like it. Definitely nothing clicky.
Can you not remove a keycap to check switches? hahatextadventurer wrote: 25 May 2020, 16:07 It's already in my possessionMaybe I can pass it to someone who could use it for parts.
Is this one the same?shine wrote: 28 Apr 2020, 14:13 Hi! I just got this nasty keyboard, i bought it thinking it could be a Tulip or Monterey (based on its layout), hopefully with white or blue alps, but this has this weird orange-yellow SMK-like switches. I can't found anything in the wiki, anyone knows?
It's clicky and sounds really good.
Thanks!
ok, found it, it's a podworld

Luggable PC, lots of variations in these. Some are Alps, others are MX, maybe someone can tell from the caps (I can't). One version here, others in older posts if you search "luggable":
Its Kpt like switch keyboard. I have same one.EnthusiastDude wrote: 26 May 2020, 15:18Is this one the same?shine wrote: 28 Apr 2020, 14:13 Hi! I've never seen an IBM keyboard like that. The stems remind me of foam and foil, do other keys have springs under them?DanishAznita wrote: 30 May 2020, 06:49 hello , anyone know this model of keyboard ?
it seems to be from 80's to early 90's judging from its square silver badge... but i have absolute no clue as i havent seen this one before.
i dont know much detail about this one since i saw it in chinese used market .Felima wrote: 30 May 2020, 11:50I've never seen an IBM keyboard like that. the Harris? someone bought it the day before I messaged the seller, so it slipped through my hands. i'll be scouring the earth for one now, I'm in loveChyros wrote: 03 Jun 2020, 21:30 Very nice find! I'd actually been looking for one of those for a long time xD .
I know the person who got it. I am still salty because I messaged him months ago when the listing went up as there were no pics of the keyboards. I was quite rudely told that he wouldn't take pics, so I passed on the listing only for the seller to post pics later and for that other person to get it...oh well.lauralouise wrote: 04 Jun 2020, 00:53 he was selling his old keyboards for $5. if i picked that thing up for $5 i would probably cry.
