It is quite certainly lasered, the original size pic shows the pale lettering and the bar on the Num5 key:

Thin PBT too, hence the bars, not sculptured keys on "F" and "J" and no nub on "5".
Funny though I do have a so branded current modern Cherry G80 from the manufactuer of the PCs case, THEIS computer. Big lasered logo on the cases top above the NUMpad.

I think the Tandon should be 1251SAD.

Uups! I thought so because I couldn't zoom the picture. How did you zoom?

A fellow DT member (sorry for being unable to give him the credit, I completely forgot who it was ) posted the trick some time ago.
On the auction page, do a
right klick on the pic and in the context menu select "View Image".
In the URL, replace the value just preceding .jpg with 10.
If the seller used a bigger pic, the original size will be shown.
Unnecessary to say that the whole procedure is programmed on a single key of my Tipro keyboard

Might be looking for a German proxy to see if I can lose a bidding war on two of these in a week

Did you lose?

Didn't ask anyone to proxy. [Thank You for the offer kbdfr!!!!!] Thought it'd go for much more than that. Congrats to the winner! Though I am now starting to feel a bit sad

I was watching this thing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/321263011258
..but with a couple hours to go, the seller stopped the auction. I thought they couldn't end an auction when there are bids on it. I probably couldn't have gotten it anyway with the extreme shipping, but still...

I think there's a way out if an item you're selling has just vanished, or if you damaged it so it no longer matches the description, etc. "Sorry, my dog ate the green screen."

This happened to me before when a seller cancelled an auction for a 1964 Astro (lava) lamp, just a half hour before it ended. They claimed their dog broke the lava lamp. I didn't believe it, but I did see a picture of their dogs. I convinced them to sell me the bits that didn't break. Damn dogs.

Dogs and smokers: two of my least favourite things, when you discover that you've just wound up with their stuff. It only takes a moment to know…

Smoking dogs are even worse.

the one that caught my attention, Czech/US set from Peacock G81-3004SAT (identified by ivan) :
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z ... 6091150935
also some nice ansi sets that i'm considering..

This set looks like the original set:
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=36017808586
The one photekq linked (
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=36091150935 ) seems the same but turned into ANSI with few extra caps.
I asked tinnie if these 2 are what he talked about when he made
this thread a while ago, but didn't get a reply. I assume they are and thus aren't actually in stock, feel free to correct me though.
I really want a set of these (czech is my language), but it just seems impossible to get :/

possible if u want, but, as I said, I think this ansi layout set is not original, the seller maybe put 2 set together to get those, cause I have never seen ansi layout peacock keyboards

Yes I agree about the ANSI one, thats exactly what I meant. The ISO one in the first link seems like just the original set tho.
And by "possible" do you mean you think the seller actually does have either of these 2 in stock? Because I sure can't tell by just looking at the taobao listings, the stock amount it says just seems like bullshit most of the time.
And yeah they look quite used/dirty, I can't really tell from those crappy pictures if they are shiny though.

I hadn't noticed the iso set until now. That definitely seems like the original set. Might be worth taking a gamble on them considering the price..

it's in stock now, I asked the seller just few days before. But I guess the condition maybe can't satisfy you

Prices on taobao have gone sky high in the last year or so. They also sell more and more frankensteined stuff...

That's a German G80-5000 together with its numpad G80-5700.
It will be interesting to see for how much it sells, since I have the exact same configuration

Anyone interested in my DEC VT52? There's an issue with the CRT, the vertical has gone out. Might be fixable/adjustable (there's a hefty repair manual).
Has sweet doubleshot stackpole keys...

I'm tempted [but a bit wary of increasing the hobby's space requirements
