I was ask seller for photos.

Almost sure that's not a FK-555, almost everything about it is slightly different. The lock lights and their order, the colour of the F-key strip and lock light sticker, the keycaps, the layout (Monterey instead of Focus), the cable, the feet, the AT/XT switch, its position and its label, the serial number sticker and its font, and the colour of the back panel. It looks more like a fullsize version of those Tai-Hao or BTC AT clones. Or of the Chicony 5160, but I don't know if that has a metal back panel.

Looks to be some sort of KPT switch, but I've never seen red or black ones documented anywhere.

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone recognized this 74 key keyboard. It has pull out spring loaded feet. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

David

Which system does this derive from? Cable is missing. I can only post the pics, please just imagine how it smells.. and for the keyfeel: worth to post it in the ugliest keyboard thread. Thank you!

Does anyone recognize this one? It's from a Canon AP 105 typewriter. It looks a bit like Alps semi-integrated dome but obviously the keycaps aren't alps mount.

Looks like the same switch as on the Canon AP 6300.
Possibly just a variation of SMK spring-over-dome (on the Canon S-51) but with SMK inverse-cruciform mount. I would like to know more.

Anyone care to hazard a guess what was in this unbranded board that I missed on German eBay? Sold as a mystery board for around 30€ plus shipping as seller wasn't quick enough to post a nudie shot. My bid was 22€ and now I'm curious.

I was thinking definitely ALPS mount caps. It's always the chance of potential Futaba clickies that stops me from placing higher bids. Not that they're bad switches, they're just way too noisy and I have whole box full of them I need to get rid off.

Not sure what it is, but the feet and the case design and material seem to be VERY similar to a cherry MX board I got. No branding, and very low quality / questionable design decisions. The keycaps were cherry made for sure, in addition to the switches, but the PCB and case are... interesting. Poorly made. There is a lock light bank, but the PCB doesn't go up far enough to reach it, nor does it even have LEDs. The LEDS are built into the switches. Also, the keycaps are a mix of thin cherry doubleshots and thick ones, with the enter and numpad + being very thin, while the other caps are standard cherry doubleshots. The cable is the only thing that has any branding whatsoever, with the words, "r.wang" on the strain relief closest to the keyboard.

Looks exactly like a Datacomp DFK555. Should be Futaba MA.
