Yeah, they're definitely an overall good thing, really helping us make this GB happen.

But we really need to organise something over here for distribution. I know from experience that UK orders of these will get a substantial tax hit. Way over 20%. I paid nearly 100% the last time SP shipped me something direct. Ouch.

Just to get everything clear. We have to order over Massdrop and don't get any invoice right?

Hopefully, if we play our cards right, we could be recognised as a state of the USA! Then we would have no problems with Massdrop buys down the line, and we will be part of the best country in the world

Personally I'd love to join the United States. But apparently a mere 1% of people here* think this is a good idea. Significantly more want a UK that's stuck alone outside of both the EU and US. Just like Rupert told them.

Considering you said this group buy should last a month, is the 14 day deadline an error on Massdrop's behalf?

Ordered one of each color, and only need the blue and light grey space bar! So if someone is interested in the red or dark grey space bar, I would forward it when I got my order. Don't have to pay customs here and only shipping because of the rather small amount for a group buy.

Many thanks to Matt3o and everyone else who helped make this possible. It is amazing what this group can do against all odds. What's next? Today, PBT Topre spacebars, tomorrow? Scottish independence, perhaps.

I've placed my order on Massdrop for all the available colors.

Got myself 1 set of everything + 2 pack of light + dark (because I know a friend who'll miss this and will beg me to sell him one... ) :p

In those pictures it looks like the black and white spacebars do not match the original colours very well. Are they accurate?

Matteo addressed this (probably last page). They're not ideal. But they're a fair shot at it. Colour matching is notoriously hard, and expensive due to trial and error. We're too small a GB to be able to cover costs on really getting it perfect. Good enough will have to do.

Ah, sorry I missed it.. Shame about that.

Doesn't look so bad in the other picture, might be MD's lighting?

they told me 1 month but evidently they want to make it faster. it can always be pushed a week or two later

those are the prototypes. I should get the pre-production soon. if the color is not close enough we have one chance to correct it, but that's all we've got. The second run will be it, whatever color comes out from the press.

As always, I think we've got just the right man on the job! That's a big call.
