I added the white standard kit that I requested (and 6.2 and 7.0 space bars). Should I pay now or wait on the off chance that more people buy in and lower the price? In all honesty, there is shit else I want (outside of SPH colours in GMK/Cherry profile), so I don't want to have to add keys or go through "refund" process.

Wait, becuase it might happen that the white stuff does not make it.
We where at 67% before your order and are now at 68%.

what switches were you using?
I'll be using either clears or tactile greys
I know there was a run of DSA caps in the past where SP had some tooling that wasn't quite right and they were tighter than normal and broke stems off...hopefully that isn't the case with any of the SA tooling
I used R4 SPH caps on mx blues and had no problems.
I used DSA caps on mx reds, also no problem. DSA caps I had the problem that they were even too loose for the costar stab clips.

It happened to me when I was testing different profiles for my space key (1unit) on one of the old mxblack of my tipro but I'm sure I wasn't very careful in the removing process because it's the one case I had. If you do it gently there is nothing to fear.

Maybe, it is wise to order some replacement switches in the CherryMX group buy and let them ship along the Round 5 order.

Okay okay, I'm going to re-think the changes I made last night. If I go all ANSI instead of all ISO I will probably end up spending a bit more (can get HONEY/FUNCTION/RED etc) and it will make the choices of which keyboards to keep easier.
I'm still unlikely to use all of the money I've paid for my order though. Has it all been handed to SP now? What sort of timescale are we talking for getting it back?
Thanks.

When you paid too much you can get a refund or spend it on switches, more key caps or a keyboard or you can still buy my Nikon D90 or just wait for the Hyper group buy ...

Wait! How much do you pay for them?

Okay, I have increased my order amount slightly because I've decided to keep my ANSI stuff not my ISO stuff. I've still overpaid by around $100 though, which I will need back. Do I need to do anything in particular for the refund to be processed or is it just a matter of waiting until the appropriate time?
I've got a D7000 already
Thanks!

This must be old stock, sold for old prices. Get as many as you can and make a fortune out of them!
Then, come back and order all the key caps and other stuff you ever wanted from me.

I don't know why I didn't notice this before, but the period key in the FORTY kit only shows the period, not the shifted character (greater than symbol on a standard kb). What's the reasoning for that? And is that key available in any other set, or could it be sold as a single? There's obviously the tenkey period, but that's row 3...

Well spotted, Sean4star! I've checked the full list and that row 4 "\cdot" is a FORTY exclusive. How I want single legend caps for every row, from numrow shift symbols (like a single, centred ! instead of 1) down to dot and slash…

Me too! Unfortunately, to get them made custom by SP is around $100, just for the 10 top-rows... I will mourn the loss from this group buy, even though I was conflicted about the high price while they were on the table. :disappoint:

You, me and the other nutters (you know who you all are…) need to put together a Round 5.5 to fix this and everything else we came up with. One kit to rule them all! Or otherwise how will we ever reach MOQ?

Quick question - for the two sets:
HONEY/ERGO/RED/WHITE
HONEY/ERGO/BLACK
Are the F and J keys deep-dish or not?
EDIT: hoping they are
EDIT EDIT: also, can you confirm for me that both sets are completely blank?

Yes, they are.
No, they are not. I thought you mean the HONEY/FORTY kits.
You must look here for keys with deep dish:
http://deskthority.net/wiki/R5#Blank_kits

BLANK/R3U100D/WHITE (blank key deep dish (white) | $1)
BLANK/R3U100D/GREY (blank key deep dish (grey)$LQ2 | $4)
BLANK/R3U100D/RED (blank key deep dish (red)$LQ1 | $9)
BLANK/R3U100D/BLACK (blank key deep dish (black)$LQ3 | $6)
$LQ1-3 mean volume rebates if you take more than one.

Thanks for the clarification - I will order from those blanks - hopefully, the prices for the RED and the BLACK DDs will come down - don't want to bother with yet-another-paypal remission...
Two RED deep-dish would look amazing in a sea of black keys!
EDIT: btw, is there a quick summary of the quantities required to move between the tranches for LQ1-3?
