Instead of
Doubleshot replacements for Cherry MX - Round 5
it will be
Cherry MX Doubleshots - Round 1
because they are no replacements, but the real thing!

LOL!
You only say this because you think in that case you would get them under the Christmas tree!
But nope!
All it would say is you can preorder the key caps and that they will ship once they are in stock sometime in January, or February.

I'm not in such a hurry, this is the first group buy I heard about and participated

And it really was very easy because you're so organized.
I was just wishing custom keycaps was a bigger market or easier to make

Any chance of finding a Dolch moogle kit here?

No.
Dolch is Cherry (think letters and letters are placed in the upper left corner).
The ROUND3-style is centered with relatively thin letters.

I'm guessing from scanning the thread that I'm
waaaaaaay to late for an order, but I took a shot nonetheless.

There might still be leftovers, just wait 'til 7bit realizes that you want to join the fun!
Btw, 7bit: Some time ago in a forum far far away, you posted a list of all the invoice amounts... can you do that again, here? I'm just curious if I made it to the top20.

Just got a mewssage from SP:
DCS is completed. The production of SA key caps will take until mid February ....

Mid february

Post-post-Closing/Leftovers/??? payment from mashby has been received and marked as shipped for PP (although we all know that we are looking at SP finishing the production mid February 2013, then caps being shipped for sorting, then shipped to their final destination, i.e. you). That is to avoid PP account lock ups, that they like to do. Invoices may or may not reflect the change, but they will. Please keep in mind I only account for payments made to me, not to megnin or IBAN.
Note: Addresses on the Paypal invoices are not the addresses 7bit uses to ship your keycaps/switches to. He uses whatever address that is listed on your invoice.

Will they ship the DCS first and SA later, or just everything at once ? Maybe it would be easier for you to start doing a quality control and sorting with DCS first ?

Yes. I still have to compare them with my graphics, but they seem alright.
The lightblue on lightgrey Retro keys look better in nature than photographed with that cheap camera.

Does that mean you have them at hand already?
Or do you know based on previously made, similar sets?
Posted: 04 Jan 2013, 21:25
by damorgue
Are they going to arrive to you sorted in some fashion or largely unsorted? Hopefully sorting will be easier this time around.
Are the DCS sent separately to allow for sorting to begin or will it all wait until all sets have been manufactured?
