Sorry guys, a bit late - just got internet at the house.
I'll have the matching done tonight.

And?
I plan to ship items today or tomorrow, so please let us know to whom we should ship.
If you don't have time, we could each e-mail a permutation (in cycle-notation of degree at most 11)
to The Keyboard Oracle and have them applied (from left, in incomming order) to the array in the first post.
Then, The Keyboard Oracle sends out the addresses such that everybody ships to the next in the permuted array.
since I have to ship something to Nuum anyway... well... I would gladly pick Nuum as my giftee

You don't need to. Just pack it in the box, get outside, ring the bell, then open the door and tell your empty flat/house that there is a package for you. "Please sign here." "Thanks!" Then you get back in, unpack it, take pictures and post them here.
oh there we have the matches. If you get a present from Italy... IT'S NOT ME?! YOU UNDERSTAND?!

You ship from somewhere else to save shipping costs, yes?

That's what I do. Buy something in the country of which the recipient is located. I can get away without spending $80 shipping alone.

is there a suggested avg gift value?
Posted: 10 Dec 2014, 13:50
by 7bit
I think it should be something you already have in stock. Buying a gift should be avoided.
I'm quite sure you have some cool things you can give away!
So, just send me your CNC thing!

There isn't, although I wouldn't recommend going out and shipping a brand new Industrial SSK like 7-bit wants - that's a bit expensive.

This here is nice although sometimes international shipping costs makes it a bit pointless. For example if I were to mail a Model M or XT board it would cost $78+ anywhere outside of North America. Neither are worth that anyways so it's easier to buy something in the country and have it shipped to them (for me in 'murica anyways).
Aww man, you'll have to settle for a dirty XT keyboard then. No SSKs at all here.

$76.50 online price for a Large Flat Rate box to Germany (I just checked), although that only works for thinner keyboards, a Model M is a tight fit in the Large Flat Rate Board Game Box.
And I completely missed the thread until it was too late, too.

I can add you two in still, granted it would be to each other.

My 2000 is not NIB 7bit, so I'd best not send it to you. I don't think you'd be happy with it, it's a little yellowed

I've got some G80-2550 boxes here and a matrix printer and paper from the early 1990s.
All I need is the keyboard plus some Retr0bright.

I know what I'll be sending, I just need to dig it out from whatever box it's hiding in...I'll try and get mine out before this weekend, Saturday morning at the latest.

Mine'll be ready to ship tonight, hopefully be shipped by Monday.
No idea how slow the postage is (not international) but here's to hoping it won't take 2 weeks.

I am currently on crutches and cannot get to the post office...so I am going to have to pass this year. But thank you very much for the offer!
