I'm just trolling. We like to act like the whole world is into football (outside the USA) but it's not. The reason no world cup has ever been won by a team beyond Europe and South America is because the rest of the world just isn't really into football… besides Africa, which has bigger problems.

But we should definitely call the Ryder Cup the World Golf Cup!

I don't know what you're all talking about, North Korea have the 20 last world cups...



Which is no surprise, really, since football was invented by Kim Jong Il.

Yeah, they beat us in the final in 1978.

The Indians are too ga-ga over cricket to ever take football seriously. And the Chinese, I don't know what they are doing. Training their citizens to win all the niche sports at the Olympics? Badminton, here we come!

The sad part being: India is also shite at cricket. By pure numbers, they should dominate that little sport. Instead, Australia punches above its weight (everyone: copy the Aussies, they're amazing at every sport they care about) and even the West Indies is a force. What a state!
