Beware that MX white is different from clear. They may look almost identical, but whites are clicky like blues, only softened; while clears are tactile with no click. Whites are quite nice, actually.
The Phantom sounds a decent idea, as you want to get pretty custom. I don't know much about it specifically, but it surely offers more to a modder than a commercial keyboard's PCB.

MX White acctuation is lower than Blue or?
I wish I had the money to spare to mod those old Cherry boards I bought...

Hmm.
According to the Wiki maybe white is the same weight, and maybe it is heavier. I've only played with a single switch (courtesy of Mr. Interface's switch sampler) and found it a pleasant quiet alternative to blue. Haven't yet actually typed on a keyboard of them. Certainly lighter than green though.
As for activation point: same as blue and green. They all use the same mechanism. Green is a like blue but a heavier spring. While white is a factory lubed blue.

Have to find a hundred at some point then... And some PS/2 cables...

I just bought 7 keyboards for 15 bucks that are completely useless, if you pay me $5 + shipping I'll send you 5 PS2 cables haha

Male PS/2 on both ends? I bought one of those on the cheap recently for a Tipro (which involves modding it anyway). Oddly enough, every PS/2 keyboard I ever come across has a fixed cable or something funky on the keyboard's end. Seems like removable cables were just a little fancy.

No just one end PS2, one end with no termination... that would be something, I haven't yet owned a keyboard with a removable PS2 port.

Standard fitting on a Tipro is two! Well, one of them is a PS/2 passthrough port so you can chain keyboards. The master socket to connect back to your computer is actually proprietary, but can be used with a standard PS/2 cable once hacked with pliers.

I bought two old Cherry boards with DIN-5 connectors, so to get some use I should replace that with PS/2...

If you live in the US I'll snip a couple of chords off some keyboards I don't need and send them to you, if not, you'll have to cover shipping haha.
