Sometimes you say something grumpy, and then some people say something grumpy back, and then you say you'll quit the wiki, and then you continue, because
you can't help yourself.

I hope when you're finally done, it's because of a better reason than some random guy saying he isn't very interested. For example because it's monumental and finished, or because you met this great babe.

The grumpy to fuck transition is happening too fast with some people.

i would have never offered to take the photo in the first place had i known what it will trigger.
the thing is, i actually like the wiki very much and i appreciate every contribution but i honestly lack time and most of all knowledge to maintain it, thus this has never been my intent. but if it has actually come so far, that reacting to a request and taking a picture will actually turn around on you and leave you marked as 'some random guy who doesn't really care' (how kind of you), then your sense of interpreting peoples actions is simply beyond distorted, and anyone with half a brain should know that.

It wasn't even a reply to you nor was it an attack. Yet you manage to turn it into a personal attack on you and proceed with a personal attack yourself. It must be that period in the month.

Stop attacking people who think they had been attacked by the emperor of the wiki!

I was deadly serious. I will make an exception for Cherry MX Lock and black-vs-grey M6/M7 as I ordered these parts specially for inspection and they just arrived today.

If I was like some guys here I'd have threatened to quit hosting the wiki whenever someone did not agree with me on the Internet and countered my strong opinion, and state that if I had known all this, I would have never uploaded it blah blah *cry* Waaaaaa....

Cheer up kiddos. Its not all that bad.
I can see why Daniel is frustrated, its always a pain to try and encourage people to help with something like a wiki.
Part of the reason I took pictures of my MEI switches was because I think the wiki is great and wanted to help out with it.

We should probably also check out electric Olivetti typewriters from late 1980's to early 1990's ..
There are a few models that look promising from photos, fex the CX 440 .
Considering that Olivetti owned TA from 1986 to 1994 it would be strange if not at least some
models share some components ..

Yesterday I got three of Triumph Adler Typewriters as well. Namely the Triumph Adler Gabriele 7007L, which I still got to clean, a Twen T420 (which has Cherry MY-Switches and what appears to be dyesubs) and a CompacTA 600.
Now the Wiki lists syesubs for the CompacTA, but I'm not too sure about that. Maybe it is only bad craftsmanship, but there seems to be a slighty differently aged frame around the keycaps, also it has a different (better) printing than the Twen T420, which is very dark and quite blury.

As soon as I cleaned the Gabriele I'll upload some more pictures.
