AFAIK there are no import taxes on input devices in Germany. Just the regular 19% VAT.
If the total on the invoice (which must be placed somewhere reachable on or within the package) already includes VAT and was sent from a EEC member country, it will arrive right at your doorstep.
This applies for Germany. I do not know customs/tax regulations in other countries.

I got the VAT back because I have a business, and wrote off the rest of the costs as a business expense and paid less income tax.
Personally I don't think you should buy a uTron unless you want it as a collector. It's a great keyboard, extremely smart and well designed, but in the end it's also a Japanese layout keyboard made for a Japanese OS. Although you can remap it in any way you wish of course and it works under Windows etc.
