I can get around 50 printed on white tees for around £250, black tees are around £40 more expensive.
These are guildan heavy tees.
If you get a count and final design let me know an can give a real quote.
EDIT: obviously it get slightly more expensive for more colours and a more intricate design.

I avoid American t-shirts because the body is too long compared to the width. A lot of them resemble short dresses. I prefer a classic ‘English’ cut — sits on the hip, and slightly fitted.
Sunspel make the best t-shirts I’ve ever worn.

Oh dear. I really do hope you’re speaking metaphorically here!

Well when you're 6'2" (1.9m) tall, you need something that's
undersquare.
I'd definitely buy one in white-on-black, the Guildan tees sound great to me. I would might still get one in white-on-black, but, like others, white shirts don't do me any favors. I would also love a nice embroidered polo, possibly something in a moisture wicking fabric, like Under Armour, Nike's "golf" line, or similar. But that might be good for a separate buy. Keep this one simple.

Can also embroid at work but again price depends on the design and colours.
If you can sort out a rough quantity and a final design and colours etc I would love to give a proper quote and get these made.
Luckily the DT logo is pretty simple.

What about quality?
Will they be thin and feel cheap or will they be high quality at that price?
And how will the printing last? Will it go away after being washed a few times? Will it crumble?

I would not know, If we wanted to know this we would have to pay for samples I presume.

http://www.acorn-printing.co.uk/menswea ... -printing/ Here seems cheap with low minimum order. Wide range of quality as well.
Also I have emailed 6 other companies and waiting for quotes back.

I think for such a tee, we shouldn't skimp on quality, as long as we can keep the price reasonnable (under 20€?)
EDIT: and thanks Fossala for your work !

As I said, get a final design and rough number and i can give a proper quote that will most likely be cheaper than he other online.

As the style of the T, the Logo and the process it's done was discussed back and forth, what kind of style or logo does the DT administration want for their first *official* Community shirt?

http://www.asp-candc.com/environment/Or ... Shirts.php I have 4 quotes from these people that are around the same price as other people. The bonus though is that they are around 15 miles from me so I could check them out and collect to save on delivery.

Couldn't go today, I'm ill. Just a cold but I don't fancy cycling 34 miles with my head feeling fuzzy. Will try and get up there tomorrow.

Just a thought:
a small logo above the breast and maybe a big one on the back. Better than a huge logo on the front

I like Half-Saint's suggestion, too.
And I think the logo is still kind of wrong. The "desk" part should have the background, and not the "thority" one
I'd still like to see a Polo-shirt rather than a T-shirt, but I'd take one either way.

That's right.
Has anybody thought of asking webwit (and sixty, who I seem to remember designed the logo, and the other guys who run deskthority) if using the logo is OK?
I'm quite sure they won't object, but I think they should at least be asked.

RougeRambo asked before posting this topic.
I agree the logo is still a bit weird with the inverted "desk" part.
