I thought industrial was just another color scheme, I never knew it's flat inside. Waiting for your Model M industrial vs Normal thread. Does industrial Model M have a flat plate inside ?

This XT industrial internals are not buckling spring, it's a completely different mechanism.

An industrial M is just a different color, everything else is the same.

I see, to me it's not worth spending 4 times money just to get another color scheme...

The Industrial M and regular M is completely the same, the only differences are shell color and logo.

Agreed. You can sort of make that out in the screw holes on Photo #6. You can see the yellow in the screw hole of the normal XT. In the industrial one, it remains grey/green throughout.
Some of the XT's have a grey plastic as the base material.
