No? I guess Gentoo or Slax would be, but something like Mint shouldn't cause problems.

Hyper7 kit was the one I really really wanted when i first found DT.
How many (or few, as the case may be) were actually made?
edit: a comma

I got only 2 orders for HONEY/HYPER7, one from 7bit and the other from an anonymous user.
However, it is still possible to get the necessary keys from the Round 5 leftovers:
HONEY/7BIT
HONEY/MODEXTRA150/OVR
HONEY/MODEXTRA175
HONEY/MODSYM100/OVR
HONEY/NUMERIC7/GREY
HONEY/NUMERIC7/WHITE
HONEY/FUNCTION/R2
HONEY/FUNCTION/R3
HONEY/FUNCTION2/E
HONEY/FUNCTION7B
HONEY/MODSYM200POS
HONEY/POS/PACK1
HONEY/POS/PACK2
HONEY/POS/PACK3
HONEY/POS/PACK4
HONEY/SPACE150/GREY
More keys here:

You actually end up short two row 3 supers, a row 4 end, and row 3 f1,f2,f7,f8,f11&f12
I know because I ordered all the other pieces
If you want to make a kit with these missing pieces, I'll buy it, 7bit.

The original post says that it is alps compatible, is it just the pcb or are the keycaps alps compatible?
Also, are there any case plans for it?
And where are the trackpoint holes?

In case anyone wants to play with the Hyper7 in the Keyboard Layout Editor, I have attempted to duplicate it.

The layout file can be found here:
JSON
It is unofficial, unendorsed by 7bit, etc.

Oh god, so pretty. I read up on the first page that this supported a standard offset as well... What would that look like? I really wanna build one of these glorious monsters.

This PCB supports Alps, but there is no good key cap set (except for harvesting) that support Alps. Correct?
What switches does the original Space-cadet and Symbolics keyboards have?

I'm loving this, and have taken steps to start making one of my own. The PCB will be completely redesigned by a third party. Is 7bit still interested in this project? if so I should probably have a chat with him to get his blessing

If this does ever make it to a group buy we need a full space cadet set in alps for it.
( and a million green alps
