really nice idollar! The best looking dye-sub's I've seen in a long time. Congrats.

Their packaging alone convinces me.

My only gripe is that he doesn't cut the square images to match the keycap shape..
That's my excuse and I stand firm behind it.
I think...

Well, there's also the need to join Etsy to talk to him. I want an IBM Lena, which he's spelling wrong… okay apparently Wikipedia says everyone does! Her name's Lena, but the picture gets called Lenna.

Also, the buckling spring versions of several of other designs seem to be on a darker background, which I don't like. I'd rather higher contrast than a dim match for the original cap colour.

Hajime NAKAZATOs Profil:

One day, I got mad.
Why my keyboards always go bad so fast?
The function isn't damaged. On this basis, manufacturers may say “There is nothing bad?”
I'll say “Look here and here! The keycap legend worn out! This is a mess crap!”

One day, I marveled.
Why beautiful keyboard is rare at all?
There are many keyboards for keyboard enthusiasts. They are expensive but not beautiful. For example, I’ve ever used a Topre (famous brand for keyboard enthusiasts) keyboard. It had luxury touch and luxury price tag. Its legend didn’t wear. But its typography was more pain than poor.

One day, I was charmed.
I saw an APL keyboard's photo on the Internet. I'm a programmer. I found that the design concept of APL is exotic and reasonable. APL's mathematical symbols printed on the keyboard are esoteric, beautiful, and straight presentation of APL's concept. I wanted an APL keyboard. But in the day, it was difficult to get.
I know I should do something.

Six months later, I got a new method: DIY dye-sub printing for keycaps.
Dye-sub legend hardly wears. Moreover, it is full-color and high-definition.
I can print keycaps at home. It costs, but factory's trial piece costs more.

I'd like to offer an option which never exists anywhere but here. Design, concept, quality, method, and freedom.

...hmm quite a "profile".

I love how the English legends are so geometric and the other ones are so sinuous.

well that's THE most creative text on keycap printing that I have ever seen that's for sure, not necessarily in a good way!
I'll say “Look here and here! The keycap legend worn out! This is a mess crap!”

Better than his creative texting for sure.

To me it seems that he did all, including the English legends. I received the numbers also in the set.

Too much = €58.96 EUR + shipping + taxes

I know that the price is now higher. This is only because the ECB is buying bonds at high speed.

Edit: He made ONLY ONE !

no that's actually an OK price for such a nice set. They're very individual. I don't think too many people have these.

I think it's a great price for that set, expected way more. Really beautiful caps! Brb selling APL so I can get one of these.

The amount of effort and specially the testing that he went through justifies it.
