Vintage black cherry mx switches, alone or in groups of something
A full set of ANSI non yellowed doubleshots for cherry mx
A full set of M caps PC style ANSI one part or two part
A full set of F101 caps with ANSI or ISO enter
A full set of F122 caps (no colored legends)
Unicomp sells full M sets for $30, or $40 with nice colored legends.
What is an F101 set? ANSI Enter is always going to be much more valuable than ISO Enter.
F122 sets are problematic because the keys that they lack are the hard ones to find for any sort of conversion, and in particular the "6-pack" navigation keys and function keys make it almost as expensive to flesh out a proper set as it would cost to simply buy an M set outright.
And, of course, now that dozens of F-122 have been stripped for their internal parts, the demand for the remaining ancillary pieces is greatly diminished because there is nothing to put them into.

I am wondering, how much would a Focus FK-5001 in excellent condition go for? That is, with everything functioning including calculator, no scratches on the case, and very little yellowing to the key caps?

Those look like lasered abs / pom (are there alps pom caps ?) . As for the price, depends, on one hand they're lasered, on the other they're PT layout and that sweet stepped enter. No clue what to tell you.

I'm probably going to sell it, thats why I'm asking

Yes, obviously, that's the reason most people post in this thread. What gogu is saying is that, he has no suggestion as to what price you should ask, because your materials are too exotic.
Those caps are worth as much as someone who needs PT Alps caps is going to pay.

I have to ask. Is it just me, or does the avatar for this thread remind me of pizza every time I see it

Hi!
I'm looking for a keyboard, with Amber Omron B3G-S switches.
What to expect on price in Europe (Hungary, and Germany. and countries around), mostly on eBay?

Hi Guys,
after a long hiatus from the forum (caused by the fact that I managed to acquire an G80-5000 and was happy ever after) I'm now back since I managed to find one of these oddities:

- board
- P1140696.JPG (4.28 MiB) Viewed 7703 times
A Maltron DGIEQ ergonomic keyboard, serial number 8986.
I removed and cleaned the keyboard and caps, but the caps on the right hand side show UV yellowing since the desk that it was used on was positioned by a window:

The keyboard itself is handmade and assembled in the UK. It is surprisingly light, I would recon the case is vacuformed. The switches are all cherry blacks:

Asking if anyone has an idea of its value. The current price for a new one is an eye-watering £450, but I have no idea how much used ones go for. I have tested it and all keys are functional (though I haven't touched with the dip switches on the underside since I have no idea what they do).
Cheers,
Christian

I sold mine for £200 or £250, i can't remember. I could've probably had at least £300 for it if I'd waited, but I wanted to shift it quickly. nice find!

Jeez, did you find it at the recycling plant? Insane if it went for that much, haha.

Wow, so it seems they are still worth quite a lot... Thanks for the info, I'll probably put it into the forum later, see if anyone is interested.

I have a Cherry G81-3000 HAD in a nice condition. No yellowing that I can see, doubleshot caps, old MY design (black stem). Now, the keyfeel is toilet, so I thought maybe there's some value in the caps themselves. Should I bin the board and save the caps or is there any value in the complete package? Or am I better off with just scrapping the whole thing altogether?

Keycaps are worthier than the g81.
somewhat 15-40€, normally

If the case is in good condition it could be worthwhile to hold on to the case, just in case you manage to find a Leeku 3000 PCB, or a G80 with a shitty case.

How about a Poker (1st generation) with blank PBT keycaps? Has been sitting in my cupboard the last couple of years.

Not sure, you can get GH60 PCBs for 30 euro nowadays so I can't imagine more than like 50 euro. I saw them sold for about 50 euro a year or so ago.

What is a screw modded model M worth (blue label, iso layout)?

I don't know about pricing outside the US, but it does not seem like 100€ including shipping would be out of line.

And how much for a g80 0922? (Cherry keyboard with red amiga keycaps)

Sure it's a
G80-0922 (FI/SE-layout, PCB mounted MX blacks)
and not a
G80-0904HAD (DE-layout, PCB-mounted MX blacks)
I got a few with DE layout for 50-100€ ...
Big drawback of these boards is that the alhpanumerics don't retr0bright all the way. They loose their yellowing but stay much more beige than the inner plastic.
The ones with Nordic layout are probably worth A LOT more... people up there are starving for vintage Cherry caps ...

Youre right its DE layout, have you a picture from the retrobright result?
I think the biggest drawback is the pcb, one of the thinnest pcbs I ever saw.

Yeah, old Cherry G80s have amazingly thin PCBs.
I was worried the PCB of my Commodore G80 would snap when I took it out of the case. The bend radius was quite a bit smaller than I was comfortable with when holding it in one hand...

Yeah it bends on booth sides down if you hold them in your hands, its funny.

On the pro-side, this makes desoldering these G80 boards very simple.

I have a few keyboards that I was wondering about. First up is a Chicony 5181 that is unused and shows no yellowing (pictures attached). I also have some unused Apple 0110a's but these have yellowing in some places. and keys.

This is pretty basic, but how much would be two '92 model Ms in 9/10 condition without cables?
Also an XT with a repainted backplate in 9/10 condition?

Hello,
I have 3 keyboard and I would like to know what their value is. I will probably sell them and I would like to ask for a fair price. Can somebody tell me what kind of switch is that in the Acer keyboard? It's clicky and seems to be some kind of Alps clone. Thank you!
