Hey, i just wanted to solder some of the pcb-mount switches. I got 10 blue and 10 green. But all of them are missing two pins, the ones, which i marked red in this link:

Are they just for poistion and i can solder the switches even if they are missing?

Those extra wires are sometimes used as bridges on Cherry PCBs. These holes are also used for LEDs or n-key-diodes.

No BROWN's for PCB ? how to know when they will be available ?

"clear case" means the key body case or it is for the keycaps? (if they are included)

Clear case means that the case is clear

You can take a look at the switch at the german homepage of cherry:

With the clear case you can mount an SMD LED beneath the switch instead of using the old 3mm format. This enables you to use RGB LEDs (they are only available in 5mm or SMD). Keycaps are not included, you need do buy them additionally or harvest them from old keyboards.

I thought they were in stock. Well, I don't really need blacks/greys, so if they're going to be long then replace with whites/greens/something else please.

So, is it possible to wait a month and receive all the switches at the same time? Or do you ship what is available to the buyers so that there might be a chance that I have to wait a couple of month?

I'd like to make up my mind about the switches before I buy the whole lot for an Ergodox, but I guess shipping 1 switch is a bit expensive

tER299: I highly recommend buying one of the switch samplers that are out there, I got one from QWER with blue, green, brown, clear, red and black. Helped a lot:)

Just got an answer about the MXLOCK:

They indeed sell only 4000 of them, but the price went down significantly:
1.20 EUR per switch.

Delivery is estimated to take 7 weeks.

I take now orders.

Sadly, you can't test out Ergo Clears that way.
