My first custom keyboard. Color scheme chosen to match my computer. Tada68 PCB, Tofu 65% Case (Chocolate), DSA Coffee House keycaps, and Novelkeys/Kailh Creams switches. Normally prefer tactile, but these are very smooth switches.

Oh nice!
Here's mine. Many are still works in progress.
Is the 3101 Beamspring converted with Xwhatsit or Commonsense? If Commonsense, mind sending me a PM with how you have that configured/your wiring?

Both the 3178 (blueswitch) and 3101 (beamspring)have been converted with commonsense ...

Oh my, that’s a nice collection. What are the TKLs at the front?

What's the board with the yellow and white caps in the center?
That's the Shimadzu FKB-1A, a Tactile Fujitsu Magnetic Reed board. I think I have the only FMR board with a case
I was wondering the same thing! I thought it looked (very) vaguely reminiscent of an Acorn Electron, almost like a prototype. But given how controversial its switches are I probably shouldn't think that out loud!

I wasn't sure what i'd think of the MDA profile, but I figured since the "big bone" set had a 5.5u spacebar that fits the NIZ 84 keyboard, I figured I'd give the profile a shot.
niz84mdabigbone.jpg
The MDA caps are about the same height as enjoyPBT caps. I like the flat sculpted profile, but some keys are not consistent in their profile. The enter, backspace, and the larger shift keys are slightly higher profile that other keys in their perspective rows, while other mods like the tab, capslock, and 1.75u shift are the correct/same profile as the rest of the row.
edit: profile of the caps seemed off because of the NIZ mx/topre sliders. Caps on a board with cherry stabs and mx switches, all is level. Maybe it's the newness of the profile, but MDA is rather nice to type on. Not better than cherry profile, but different in a good way.
The convex bottom row and the tall F row keys feel great, and look okay. For whatever reason, on the 1.5u control keys, they spelled it "contrl," so I doubt I'll be using this set on any 1.5 boards. I'll probably just let the caps live on the NIZ board.
edit: NIZ board is kind of blah compared to typing on my LZ ergo...

The top row is the R0 "f row kit," the bottom row is the "convex kit," the 2.25u and 2.75u space bars are from the "space key 2 kit," the 1u space keys are from 2 "space key 1" kits, "." key above the space is from the "numpad kit," the stepped "caps lock" key are from the "modifiers extension kit," and the rest of the keys were from the "base kit."
I'd definitely jump on the next buy that offers the convex kit again. I'm still rocking this set on the Ergo, because the convex row is so comfortable on the thumbs when hitting the bottom row. I suppose it helps that on the convex kit they used "CTRL" instead of "CONTRL" for the control key, so I don't keep thinking about if they had spellcheck...

wow, it looks very nice. is this plastic? resembles a bit of wood.
Case is aluminum, caps are plastic (Signature Plastics/Pimp My Keyboard). The PBT keycaps have a nice texture to them, but not wood (wood keycaps with those colors wood - uhhh, would - be nice, though).

A NCR H0150-STD1-01-17 keyboard (for NCR Decision Mate IV or V)
The build quality and the feeling of the "RAFI RS 76 M" switches (orange) are nothing to write home about, but I really like the look of these keycaps. They're quite thin, but otherwise they wouldn't fit over the switches.

I proudly present you my first blue ALPS keyboard, a Datacomp DFK 102. My wife made a really cool Alps logo sticker for me, in order to cover this ugly Titan logo. I have swapped some keycaps from a Chicony KB-6251, which are somehow yellowed but are at least double shot. The switches have been in a very questionable state, but I was successful in restoring them, although I think blue ALPS switches can do better . Not everybody has the opportunity to find a NOS blue ALPS board, but I take what I can get.

Somehow got one of these .... didn't think I'd ever lay my hands on a 3061, but here it is, in my hands, couldn't just take normal pics of it including one featuring the Putain key I got at the 2019 Paris meetup
I’m glad the "Putain" key misses an exclamation mark.·
Otherwise I would certainly also have wanted one

they actually had a lot of trouble making just that word fit, so I'm not sure they could have fitted any more, at least not without shortening it to "ptn !"
