Maybe you can issue a R5/REPAIR kit later.

Hi,
I understand if this is tad late, but I just finalized my custom layout, and cannot put it together combining any of the existing language kits... So is it too late to order custom keys?
I would need following keys:
1 unit width:
-row 2: Ö (o with umlauts), M, comma+semicolon
-row 3: Y, P
-row 4: Ä (a with umlauts), D
1.5 unit width:
row 1: Z
row 2: X
row 3: ' (apostrophe)

Speaking of too late: what's to stop us from getting an FT ligature made? Cost? Too much time?
Halvar wrote:Sure, they're SA profile, too, just finished production, and for me it's the first time that I've seen how extreme SA row 1 keys look. Maybe row 3 is really the better solution for the function row? OK, I know we should not restart this discussion...
It was only after feeling row 1 SA keys in my own hands that I realised how awesome they are, and that I need taller keys! Row 1 has been a serious centre of my attention this round (and especially Round 4's leftovers).

SP Idioticy. They say that T can't be so close to F for some reason. But, other letters can come closer.
Another issue I like to have solved is using different font sizes for smiliar keys:
S T A T U S vs. BREAK comes to my eye when I look at the POS keys ...

aren't new legends $25 a pop? (if they don't have them already)

No problem for me.
These potentieal extra costs are already calculated into the prices.

Ok, I knew it was a long shot. but had to try it anyways... Is it possible to order them separately from Signature Plastics?

Yes, but will be quite expensive. Good luck.

I don't know, I think the improper legends are endearing. There will be a time in the future when true vintage SP Sphericals are identified by the SHIF T key.

What was in Pandora's box?
Key caps with yet unseen legends?

Et tu, µ? You were even in a kit at one point…

Which row, which color?

The premier row: row 1 red, of course! (A nice big legend so it makes a good Escape. At least they can't mess up the kerning on a single character…)

Well since we're doing Greek, how about π ?

Well, it is Πανδώρα's Box.
I would seriously take a full Greek Alpha set, like this Model M's here:

Even with single Greek legends. But who would be with me? Any real Greeks here?

All real [Gg]([r]*)([e3]{2})ks should get a Greek legend kit!!!
If someone makes the SVG graphis for them, codier the HONEY/GRALPHA kit included!
BUT: You have to fiddle out the details all by yourself. I can only give you the contact to SP
I'm personally finished with trying to make SVG graphics which they can use.

Got a template svg I can start from? I've no idea what the rules are but I can always take a shot.
Bet they need it done by Adobe Illustrator!

More legends? Oh, exasperation!
All I will suggest is you follow the Calm Depths lead on the numpad 2u zero:
It's funny how you can buy so much of a red home row in bits:
HONEY/WASD/RED HONEY/FJ/RED HONEY/GHB/RED

...oh alright, one more idea (uses all existing legends!).

Here starts the problem!
Once, I got one after asking, but it was a binary.
Seriously, just don't ask me.
Luckily, µ is in SP's repertoire.
ps: use an old version of Adobe Illustrator running in Windows 95, or so.
