or like that: http://deskthority.net/w/images/b/b6/NOIR_STANDARD.png

?

What do the following caps look like:

NOIR/REDESC
NOIR/GLIDERESC
NOIR/SYMESCAPE

I ordered NOIR/STANDARD and NOIR/SPACE this night, but its still in the outbox?
Image

NOIR/REDESC white on red text: Esc
NOIR/GLIDERESC the glider (hacker emblem)
NOIR/SYMESCAPE This is the Escape key in the above graphic.
So, if i want to have : http://deskthority.net/wiki/File:NOIR_STDSYMFULL.png

i have to order:

NOIR/STANDARD
NOIR/SYMBOLS
NOIR/SYMESCAPE
NOIR/SYMPAUSE
NOIR/SYMALIEN

???

Because this page http://deskthority.net/wiki/Round4_Noir says that they are includes. The main page says something else.

Any chance of a NOIR/FN key 7bit, 1 unit width?

Prepared to pay a fair amount for it.

No, you just need:
NOIR/STANDARD

Please don't forget to order a space bar!

NOIR/FN does not make much sense!

Keys have symbols on them, not text.

Payments from Alexsander and chronos have been received and marked as shipped for PP (although we all know that we are looking at 3 or so month for the caps to be produced, shipped for sorting, then shipped to their final destination, i.e. you). That is to avoid PP account lock ups, that they like to do. Invoices may or may not reflect the change, but they will. Please keep in mind I only account for payments made to me, not to megnin or IBAN.

Deadline 2 (2012-09-09 0:00 GMT):<-----------------
To submit order to 7bit_R4

Deadline 3 (2012-09-11 0:00 GMT):
To pay in full.

This was probably answered at some point in a GH thread that disappeared after the site went down, but what was the inspiration for the symbolic keys like Pause, Escape, Caps Lock, Print Screen, and where can I find more iconography like this?

How do you exchange USD to Euro? 1,3USD=1Euro ?

edit: i let it paypal decide. So you should get the right amount in USD.

The amount is in USD. Only if you pay in EUR it is 1 EUR=$1.25 .

Pause is the coffee cup.
Escape the box with the arrow to the left.
Caps Lock the handbag (some people think it is a padlock).
Print Screen shows 2 cylinders with a sheet of paper between them:

My latest email invoice still wants me to pay megnin, is that who I should be sending the payment to? I thought the payments were being handled by someone else now.

http://www.ecb.int/stats/exchange/eurof ... ex.en.html

1 EUR = $1.2638

Seems I've got to change the exchange rate a bit ...

ps: If you pay via PayPal, you always pay in USD!!!

True :P

Does Retro not use symbols? 0.o

f(x) would be awesome. :P

I'll use the command key for a pseudo FN I think.

Yeah, what I meant was did someone in the community design them from scratch or were they inspired by an older keyboard?

Retro comes with symbols or text. Noir is symbols only.

I still think Esc should have been Exit or ^[. Whatever, I was late when this started in '11. Hopefully I get free time to make the unix/linux keyset at GB.

hottrout: I cannot check to see if the address you put in the Paypal notes is the one that your caps will be shipped to. They will be shipped to whatever address you have on your invoice.

Blighty, thanks for the update. The address in both is the same. If only these could come sooner, I really want to see the symbols retro kit on my filco. Last years round 3 retro keys are wearing well but my space bar is very shiny now. Thats the reason I ordered lots of extra space bars with this group buy.

One last question to you and 7bit. Will the replacement keys promised from round3 also be fulfilled in this order and if so how do you know what each of us is to get?

I've got a list of missing keys, plus your original order (for the Caps Lock and Control keys etc.).
